Mariager
Mariager is a lively attraction for the tourists and a privilege for the hospitable citizens.
Here you’ll find atmosphere and Danish coziness.
Welcome to Mariager
The “City of Roses” with streets of cobble and houses with timber framing is the world’s most wonderful little town.
Situated among the hills and with its winding streets and tiled roofs, the town oozes of atmosphere and an ambience of a bygone era.
The Mariager convent church
The church was built in the 14th century as a part of the Birgittiner convent. Even if you don’t like churches, this one is well worth a visit with its long history and beautiful wall paintings.
