Welcome to Hobro – an old town beautifully situated at the inner end of Mariager fjord.
A historical townHobro is a pleasant historical town, beautifully situated at the inner end of Mariager fjord.  Since the founding of Hobro, the town has been ravaged by several devastating fires and has changed in shapes during rebuilding. Today Hobro is a modern centre for shopping, service and culture.  In the viking age, the stratically important Fyrkat settlement was build near Hobro - since then Hobro has developed into a local motropol with an exciting city-life.
