The ecobase is an outdoor activity and educational spot, where teachers and others can plan a days´ teaching. It’s a kind of primitive outdoor schoolroom with a shelter, a place to make a bonfire, a place to use outdoor equipment and explore nature.

The ecobase is situated in the southern part of Rold forest, surrounded by a very varied landscape. Close by you’ll find lakes, streams, wet areas and many different species of trees from all around the world.

The ecobase has a house with a fireplace as well as working tables and benches. In the locked boxes you can find different equipment. Teachers and other staff can collect the key from "Børne- og kulturforvaltningen"
