Denmark’s most beautiful fjordThat’s how most people would describe the Mariager fjord – and not without reason. The fjord stretches between meadows, forests and steep slopes, past Hadsund, with the bridge, Mariager – the city of roses, the charming fishing-village Stinesminde and the scenic Bramslev Bakker ending up in the town of the Vikings, Hobro.
Active holiday at sea
 If you prefer an active holiday, you’ll find plenty of opportunity on Mariager fjord.
If you like speed, waterskiing might be for you. Or enjoy the scenery in a more relaxed way – rent a canoe or a kayak, take a swim or explore the fjord diving.
Events
 All year round interesting and exciting arrangements take place around the fjord.
Take a trip onboard the M/S Svanen, take part in “fjordens dag” with activities all around the fjord or come to the annual Water-festival in Hadsund.

A heaven for yachting enthusiasts
 Around 1/10 of our area consists of water and if you arrive by sea, there are many very nice and pleasant small marinas where you can moor. Look for marinas
Angling
 You’ll find it all within short distance. Angling for pro’s, angling for amateurs, angling for everybody who enjoys a good catch! Try it!
