 The beaches near Øster Hurup are the perfect place for children, teenagers and adults. It is quite safe to let your children build castles in the sand close to the water, as the water is very shallow near the coast.

Bramslev Bakker
Combine the beautiful scenery with relaxation and swimming. You’ll find the most fascinating scenery here. Bramslev Bakker is the only place in our area with this special kind of landscape. It’s possible to drive all the way down to the beach where you can sunbathe, swim, surf or fish. The beach has The “Blue Flag”
 The “Blue Flag” beaches have extra facilities and an effort has been made to secure environment and safety.

Explore the beach
Take a walk along the beach - with a bit of luck you’ll find a nice piece of amber. Many people believe that amber is only found on the west coast of Jutland but that’s not true. If you search in the right places and keep your eyes open you’ll find it on the east coast as well!!  If luck doesn’t go your way you can collect nice shells – perfect for children to play with and collect.
